Mobiles, Mobiles and Mobiles everywhere…

Have you heard ringing it or the vibration or its in silent mode…? These cell phones have entered into our lives just only about a decade ago but it is such a familiar device for us that it looks like a very old friend of ours. The cell phones have mostly affected the youth. The youth feels incomplete without it. These easily replaced the video games, PC and many toys like dolls, cars etc. The youngsters pass their whole day in chatting with their friends or in playing the free downloaded games.
I don’t say that one should not do all these but excess of anything is too injurious. Sometimes the excess of using mobile phones becomes addiction whereas sometimes it is a merely wastage of time and money. If we just put a look upon the SMS language, which is simply killing English from the other side’s view. Misusing the cameras phones is threat to other’s privacy and freedom.
There was a time when school students indulge themselves in playing many indoor and outdoor games but now days they are very much busy with their mobile phones.
Everyone of any age group is busy with their phones. From every corner different ring tones from different cell phones are heard. This led to interruptions from everywhere. One thing to be enlighten here why the people do not put their phones in vibrating or in silent mode in public.
Even the last hours of the people are surrounded with hearing different ring tones. This all shows that we have no sensitivity towards the people surrounding you.
In the end, I just want that the following points should be reconsidered:-

  1. Are we really connected with the others by using the mobile phones?
  2. Why to show off the phones by putting it on some loud blaring ringtones in social gathering?
  3. Are we really addicted to the cell phones as we feel much helpless and lost when we forget to carry it?
  4. Did we not get on our lives when the cell phones were not there?
  5. Do the cell phones not increase the chances to speak lies?
There is a need to have the license to limit the use of mobile phones to some extent. Mobile phones must be prohibited in school life. Further steps must be applied to minimize the use of mobile phones.

An Unforgettable Trip

3rd year… Masti begins from here.1st year went into studies,2nd year went into planning and in the 3rd,the dreams come true. The trip with the guys n gals of IT Branch & superb faculties made the days.

We had the departure from Jaipur on 3rd march, Wednesday by bus. Next day was of Chandigarh. There we saw Pinjar Garden. Had the wonderful pictures there. After the having breakfast, we left from Chandigarh very soon. Now the way to Shimla came. Here the twisted and rounded way made me painful for a while but the amazing view of Shimla made everything calm and alright. Night Stay in hotel of Shimla. Next day was to enjoy the Shimla Beauty. Kufri-here we enjoyed the snow magic, played with snow. Wonderful..!!Yak-riding & shopping at Mall Road were also the nice parts.

Next move was Manali. So left the Shimla in the early morning. Again the journey. Reached Manali in evening. Oh God..!!much cold is there. Next day we went to Solang Valley. It is 14 kilo meters away from Manali. Ski packages and Para gliding are also available there. Here we had real fun  in fact it was one of the best experience from the trip. Now our group went to Hadimba temple. It is built around a natural cave, which enshrines the footprints of the goddess Hadimba who was the wife of Bhima, one of the five great Pandava brothers of the Mahabharata, and later became the patron goddess of the Kullu royal family. This four story wooden temple is located in the middle of a forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar. The temple has some intricate wooden carvings which depicts mythological characters and motifs of animals & cosmic dancers. Then we went to market of Manali-The Mall Manali. One who loves shopping can have the wonderful time here & so we had. All shops are provided with good options to buy many things which the tourists desire to. The last night of Manali plus last day of our trip was of campfire. So here we all got ready to enjoy the last day. Campfire made the weather much hot & calm.

Last adventure...but believe it's not the least...River Rafting in returning from Kullu-Manali.The Beas River from the Manaki to Jhiri near Bajaura in Kullu district has become very popular among the lovers of river rafting and many competitions have been organised in the same. We did the rafting in 3 kilometers and enjoyed three rapids. Now the day was to leave the trip with all it’s sweet memories.

The memories which I never wanna forget…

which I wanna keep with me forever & always…

Thanks to all who made it much amazing, wonderful & lovely…

CLOUD COMPUTING

Cloud Computing is general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. It is Internet based development and uses the computer based technology.

Revolution:-
Cloud computing is the most popular and biggest revolution after the revolution of personal computer and Internet. Up to the 1990s, data circuits were hard-wired between destinations. Then Virtual Private Network (VPN) is used for data communication. Telephone companies were able to offer VPN-based services with the same guaranteed bandwidth as fixed circuits at a lower cost because they could switch traffic to balance utilization as they saw fit, thus utilizing their overall network bandwidth more effectively. As a result of this arrangement, it was impossible to determine in advance precisely which paths the traffic would be routed over. The cloud symbol was used to denote that which the responsibility of the provider, and cloud was computing extends this to cover servers as well as the network infrastructure.
It is an IT revolution to improve the social productivity and to advance the standard of information.

Services:-
The services provided by Cloud computing are as follows:-
· Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS):- This type of services provides virtual servers with unique IP addresses and blocks of storage on demand. Customers can control their servers and they can pay for exactly the amount of service they use. For example-Amazon web services
· Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS):- This type of service is a set of software and development tools hosted on the provider's servers. For example-Google services
· Software-as-a-Service (SaaS):- This type of service is the broadest market. In this case the provider allows the customer only to use its applications. The software interacts with the user through a user interface. For example-Twitter services

Characteristics:-
1. Cloud computing is sold on demand on the basis of hours and minutes.
2. It is elastic means a user can have as much or as little of a service as they want at any given time and the service is fully managed by the provider.
3. Cloud computing users can avoid capital expenditure on hardware and software.
4. Cloud computing applications are easier to maintain.
5. Device and location independence enable user to access systems using a web browser regardless of their location or what device they are using (e.g., PC, mobile).
6. Cloud computing enables centralization of data.

Types on the basis of visibility:-
1. Public Cloud: -
It sells services to anyone on the Internet.

2. Private Cloud: - It is network or a data center that supplies hosted services to a limited number of people.

Types of Cloud Computing:-
1. Utility Computing: -
It is the packaging of computing resources, such as computation and storage. Low or no initial cost is required to acquire hardware.
2. Platform as a service computing: - This type of computing hides machine instances behind higher-level APIs.
3. Cloud based end user application: - This type of application is based on the user defined applications.

Yes,there is a lot more to learn about Cloud Computing and many things are needed to make it much popular among all.Cloud computing is the logical next step in dynamic infrastructures and architectures. So get READY for it..!!!
