Have you heard ringing it or the vibration or its in silent mode…? These cell phones have entered into our lives just only about a decade ago but it is such a familiar device for us that it looks like a very old friend of ours. The cell phones have mostly affected the youth. The youth feels incomplete without it. These easily replaced the video games, PC and many toys like dolls, cars etc. The youngsters pass their whole day in chatting with their friends or in playing the free downloaded games.
I don’t say that one should not do all these but excess of anything is too injurious. Sometimes the excess of using mobile phones becomes addiction whereas sometimes it is a merely wastage of time and money. If we just put a look upon the SMS language, which is simply killing English from the other side’s view. Misusing the cameras phones is threat to other’s privacy and freedom.
There was a time when school students indulge themselves in playing many indoor and outdoor games but now days they are very much busy with their mobile phones.
Everyone of any age group is busy with their phones. From every corner different ring tones from different cell phones are heard. This led to interruptions from everywhere. One thing to be enlighten here why the people do not put their phones in vibrating or in silent mode in public.
Even the last hours of the people are surrounded with hearing different ring tones. This all shows that we have no sensitivity towards the people surrounding you.
In the end, I just want that the following points should be reconsidered:-
- Are we really connected with the others by using the mobile phones?
- Why to show off the phones by putting it on some loud blaring ringtones in social gathering?
- Are we really addicted to the cell phones as we feel much helpless and lost when we forget to carry it?
- Did we not get on our lives when the cell phones were not there?
- Do the cell phones not increase the chances to speak lies?
There is a need to have the license to limit the use of mobile phones to some extent. Mobile phones must be prohibited in school life. Further steps must be applied to minimize the use of mobile phones.

ReplyDeleteyeaaaa.... Ur blog is not pink anymore :-P
ReplyDeleteBut seriously, where r the positive points of mobiles? U very easily pointed out the bad effects of mobiles but u forgot the times when mobiles saved u some trouble or the times u laughed after reading a sms. How bout the time when u saw something cool n msged ur best friend or the smile on ur face when u got calls n msgs at 12 am on ur bday? U forgot all that. Ofcourse there r bad effects of mobiles, but that is the case with everything, even the medicines that save our lives have side effects that doesn't mean they r bad. This is a branch of the old discussion, r we slaves to machines? Machines r built to facilitate us, being a slave is our choice, we can't blame these devices for it. Take the eg of alcohol. Ppl say its bad, its not bad, its just a liquid, a non living thing, its we who make it bad. Everyone knows excess alcohol consumption can kill u, yet they drink it, its their fault, alcohol is just doin wat its supposed to. Alcohol is also used for medicinal purposes, then it suddenly becomes good? No, as i said its just a liquid. Similarly with mobile or any other device, its how we use it. The person who dies due to talkin on mobile n driving is an idiot, that doesn't make his mobile the culprit. If there were no mobiles then there is music in cars, ppl could die due to listening to loud music in cars, then u'll say music is bad. The point is, we should take responsibility of our actions instead of blaming inocent non living things. As for the addiction, its human nature, everyone has addictions. If there were no mobiles, we'd be addicted to something else, there's no stopping us!!
Ps: all the crap written above is done from my mobile, so another advantage of mobiles :-)
